Volunteered at HerpAquarium on weekend mornings prior to opening with the husbandry and care of the reptiles and tropical fish displays.  I also via my employment with Mutual of Omaha  organized a two day event with Jim Fowler of the Wild Kingdom show.  In addtion to the zoo appearance, Mr Fowler spent time entertaining children at Norton Children's Hospital.

Louisville, Kentucky's Voces Novae is a unique, semi-professional choral ensemble conducted by Frank A. Heller III.   I worked  the ticket table and the help desk for the concerts at various venues. 

Southeast Christian Church is an evangelical Christian church based in Louisville, Kentucky. It is considered to be a megachurch. As of 2013, it is the seventh-largest church in the United States.

I got involved in many of the churches many opportunities to serve.
